DragonRam Doodles is a small home-based breeder of quality Australian Labradoodle puppies for sale in Ontario and across Canada. Our breeding dogs live with us or in Guardian homes, where they are the family pets, play with the children, romp through the fields, and are utterly loved. The Australian Labradoodle is a three-breed mix – Labrador Retriever, Poodle and Cocker Spaniel. We breed multi-generational Labradoodles – breeding Labradoodle to Labradoodle, helping to “lock in” the desirable characteristics of this amazing new breed.
Our goal
At DragonRam Doodles, we work hard to ensure that the Australian Labradoodle puppies we sell are bred for top health, excellent temperament, and outstanding good looks. We breed miniature and some medium Australian Labradoodle puppies, taking care to adhere to the breed standard developed by the Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA), and to follow the ALAA code of ethics.
Our standards
DragonRam Doodles strives to maintain Gold Paw status with the ALAA. This means that our breeding Labradoodles are health tested to exacting standards, to ensure they are free of health issues common to the founding breeds, and that they do not carry any genetic diseases (for which tests are available), so as to avoid passing these on to their puppies.
The name “DragonRam”
DragonRam Doodles is named for my children, who were born in the Chinese Year of the Dragon and the Year of the Ram! With such an auspicious name, our Australian Labradoodle puppies are strong as dragons and solid as rams – but as gentle as a little ball of fluff could possible be.
